Short agreement, honest terms.

Plain-language summary

• Free tier requires no account and gives you unlimited local sessions forever
• Pro / Enterprise accounts buy AI features via monthly credits
• You own your data. We don't train on it. Export anytime.
• We can suspend accounts that abuse the service (spam, scraping, fraud) — we won't suspend for legitimate use
• We're a US company subject to US law; EU/UK users are covered by our DPA on request
• We provide the service “as-is” with commercial best-effort reliability, but no iron-clad SLA for Free/Pro

1. Accounts

You must be at least 13 years old (16 in EU). You're responsible for what happens under your account. Don't share credentials. One account per person unless you're using a team / enterprise plan.

2. License to use Sessionat

We grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the extension and web dashboard for personal or internal business purposes. Don't: reverse engineer to steal trade secrets, resell the service, use automated clients beyond documented APIs, or attempt to circumvent credit limits.

3. Your content

Saved tabs, AI chat transcripts, and workspace data remain your property. You grant us a limited license to process that data for the purpose of providing the service (e.g. sending an AI request through OpenRouter). We don't train models on your data and don't sell it.

4. Billing

Pro subscriptions bill monthly or annually via PayPal. Annual plans save 48%. Cancel anytime — you keep access through the end of the paid period. Annual refunds are prorated at our discretion for unused months. No refunds for consumed AI credits.

5. AI credits

Credits are the unit of AI consumption. Free tier: 100 credits one-time. Pro: 5,000 credits / month, rolling over up to 3 months. Credit costs per feature are documented at /pricing and may change with 30 days' notice.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use Sessionat to:

• Violate laws or third-party rights
• Scrape, bulk-harvest, or resell content
• Overload the API beyond rate limits (100 req/min auth, 60 req/min extension — see docs)
• Host illegal, abusive, or harmful content
• Misrepresent your identity

7. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend accounts that violate these terms or submit chargebacks in bad faith, with notice where practical.

8. Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don't warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free. For paid plans we target 99.5% uptime but don't commit to an SLA without an Enterprise contract.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

10. Governing law

Governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA. Disputes resolved in Delaware courts unless you are an EU/UK consumer, in which case your local consumer-protection law applies.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be emailed to account holders 30 days in advance. Continued use = acceptance.
